Activating the Future: It’s an inside job

Abstract

Decision-making is how we navigate uncertainty and exercise agency over our lives — it’s the mechanism we use to select the next moment that appears to be best for us. Traditional frameworks tend to anchor decisions in external events, but after nearly 25 years in legal practice, I’ve discovered that this outside-in approach doesn’t sustainably create preferred futures. The future is now and it’s an inside job - let's activate it!
